Over de auteur

Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Kabir Mohabbat was sent by his family to Southeastern Missouri State University where he earned a degree in Political Science. Soon after graduation, he left to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan as a mujahid. He eventually became a businessman in the U.S. in Houston, Texas. In the 1990's when the U.S. State Department needed a bridge to the new Afghan government - the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the Taliban) - Kabir volunteered to help.
