Of all the traditional arts and crafts of Japan, woodblock prints are probably the most widely known in the West. This work highlights the history of the Japanese woodblock, discusses the materials, tools and papers (and their western equivalents), and shows how to use them in step-by-step projects. An inspirational and practical book lavishly illustrated with prints from around the world.
