ADVERTISEMENT.

IN presenting to the Public a fifth Volume in
continuation of a favourite popular Work, no other
Preface is necessary, than for the Editors to state,
that the flattering Patronage which they have re-
ceived, has stimulated them to continue the same de-
gree of exertion as heretofore; and they hope, there-
fore, that this Volume will prove no less worthy of
public approbation than the former Volumes.

The communication of authentic Memoirs for fu-
ture Volumes, and notices of omissions or errors in
the past, are earnestly solicited.
