* A fine XVth century woodcut, remarkable as being a rare example of a little known school; it was probably designed and executed by Dinckmut himself, who had been an engraver before he became a typographer. The book from which it comes is of the greatest rarity, and illustrates scenes in Suabian history, ending with the sack of Mentz in 1462. Conrad Dinckmut started to print in Ulm in 1482, and his last book printed there was dated 1496.

* It is a circumstance of great rarity to find a notable first edition clad in an equally notable binding, as in the present instance. Contains a number of commendatory poems, including one by Charles Cotton. The binding is a striking and beautiful example of the best work of Samuel Mearne, the royal binder to Charles the Second.

* A very rare flower book by an anonymous author, remarkable for its fine early botanical colouring. Each plate has a brief gardening description engraved beneath it, and several of the early plates give the London owner's name and the locality whence the plant came.
