THOUGH the directions given by my late and revered friend, Dr. Garnett, are very full and valuable, and the analysis of the waters very complete, and worthy of such a chymist; yet, I have often thought, that the addition of a few cases would render it more acceptable to the public. By comparing the symptoms of these cases with their own, patients will more readily form a judgment whether these waters will be useful to them. The cases in the following appendix are noted down from my own patients. It would have been easy to have added many more, but these were thought sufficient.

F. JAQUES.
