CAMM'S EMULSION

PURE NORWEGIAN COD - LIVER OIL.

-AND

Hypophosphites of Lime and Soda, with Iron.

We claim superiority for CAMM'S EMULSION, in the fact that the i gredients of its manufacture are purer than those generally used, AND PARTICULARLY, THAT WE AVOID THE USE OF ALL ALKALIES; the hypophosphites being the only alkaline substance that it contains. The so-called emulsions which are so much in use, are only LIQUID SOAP-made by the addition of a strong alkali to the oil, by which a smooth, handsome mixture is produced, but which has no therapeautic property whatever, further than SOFT SOAP made in the ordinary way. We use no alkali at all as an emulsifier, but PANCREATINE instead, and only enough of that to partially dissolve the fat, on the principle of assisting the stomach, and not to digest the oil before it reaches the stomach. The oil globule is left intact and separated from the rest of the mixture, but all the ingredients can be thoroughly incorporated into a homogeneous mixture, by slight agitation; and the therapeutic properties are not sacrificed to pharmacy. We intentionally make this mixture in this way, because we believe it is best; and this must be apparent to the intelligent physician, even if some pharmacists do not appreciate it. The salts are thoroughly d. solved, and there is no deposite or inert sediment of any kind in the bottom of the bottle.

PROF. JOSEPH EICHBERG, M. Prepared by the Provident Chemical Works under the name of Crystalline Phosphate."

in the Treatment of Mental and Nervous Diseases.

One of the most widely known physicians in the country, residing in Washington, says:

A well known physician of Chicago, in practice since 1859, says:

"It will be a revelation to most physicians. I have found it peculiarly adapted to the mentally overworked Public School teachers, as well as to the worn out business man.'

A Philadelphia physician says:

"Your tonic is a noble remedy. Some of my patients call it the "Elixir of Life," In Atonic Dyspepsia and as an aphrodisiac it cannot be excelled.

A Baltimore physician, whose Diploma dates from 1825, says:

"Your combination I find vastly more effective than any tonic I ever used, It furnishes a most powerful evidence of the vastly increaseed power of medicament by combination and judicious pharmaceutic preparation,'

While an Ohio physician says:

"I have been in the profession since 1841, and must frankly say have never been much inclined to run after strange gods, but this new manipulation and combination pleases me,"
