QUADERNOS, see FIGUREN, No. 18376 QUADRERIA Medicea. Without place or date (Fir. 1733 sq.). large fol. 5 vols.

This collection contains the pictures of the Medici gallery, engraved by Mogalli, Pichianti, Lorenzini, Gregori, and others after Fr. Petrucci's designs, but it is only

indifferently executed. The first 2 vols., which were engraved from 1733 to 1771, and properly alone bear the title of Quadreria, are the most important. The 1st vol. contains 94 leaves, the 2nd 93, the 3rd (by St. della Bella) 98, the 4th (by Callot) 105, the 5th (by different masters) 110. QUADRINS, see FIGUREN. QUADRIREGIO, see FREZZI. 18377 QUADRIO, Fr. Saverio. Della storia e della ragione d' ogni poesia. T. I. Bol., Pisarri, 1739 (also, Ven. 1739). T. II-V. Bol., Agnelli, 1741-52. 4°. 5 parts in 7 vols.

A tiresome and uncritical compilation, without any arrangement (Bouterwek Gesch. der Poesie, II. 535), but greatly sought after notwithstanding. QUADRUVIUM ecclesiæ,seeHUGO, No. 10360.

The first edition, as is evident from this, that Andr. Aleriensis in the dedication of the following edition makes mention of it. That not U. Han but Ph. Lignamine was the printer, can hardly any longer be doubted according to Audiffredi Cat. edd. Rom. p. 46, 47. 111-117, and Dibdin Bibl.
