Rom..9. :1. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ver. 9. Being justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath to come. Ver. 16, 17, 18, 19.
viii. l. There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, 1 Cor. vi. 11. Ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus. Gal. ii. 16. A man is justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. iii. 8. God would justify the heathen through faith. Ver. 24, Ch. v. 4.
XIII. Sanctification through Christ. I Cor. i. 2. To them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus.
Ver. 30. Christ Jesus, of God, is made unto us, wisdom and righ. teousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
vi. 11, Ye are sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Eph. v. 25. Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, that he might sanctify and cleanse it. Ver. 27.
Tit. iii, 5. Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regenes ration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
Heb. ii. 11. He that sanctifieth, and they who are sanctified, are all of one.
x, 10. We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
Ver. 14. By one offering he hath perfected for ever, them that are sanctified. Ver. 29.
Heb. xiii. 12. Jesus that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
XIV Christ is called life to his people. John i. 4. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
v. 26. As the Father hath' life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.
vi. 68. Thou hast the words of eternal life. xi. 25. I am the resurrection, and the life. xiv. 6. I am the way, the truth and the life. Acts iíi. 15. The Prince of life. 1 John i. 1. Our hands have handled of the word of life. Ver. 2. For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you, that eternal life which was with the Fa. ther and was manifested unto ús.
v. 12. He that hath the Son hath life, he that hath not the Son hath not life.
Ver. 20. This is the true God, and eternal life,
XV. Eternal life, is from and by Christ. John iv. 16. Whosoever shall drink of the water that I shall give him, shall never thirst.
John vi. 27. Labour not for the meat that perisheth, but for that meat which endureth to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you. Ver. 33.
vi. 48. I am the bread of life. Ver 53.
Ver. 51. I am the living bread, which came down from heaven, if any man eat of this bread he shall live for ever,
John vi. 57. He that 'eateth me, even he shall live by' me. viii. 12. He that followeth me shall have the light of life. 'X. 10. I am come that ye might have life.
Ver. 28. I give unto them eternal life, neither shall any pluck thet out of my hand. xiv. 19. Because I live, ye shall live also.
Rom. v. 17. They which receive abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life by Jesus Christ.
Ver. 21. As sin reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ.
Col. iii. 4. When Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall ye appear with him in glory.
1 Thess. v. 10. Christ died for us, that whether we wake or sleep we should live together with him.

XVỈ. Eternal life is the gift of God through him. Rom. vi. 23. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ch. v. 18. Řev. xxii. 17.
I Pet, üi. 7, Heirs of the grace of life.
Tit. i. 2. In hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, pro• mised before the world began.
1 Pet. i. 3. God hath begotten us to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1 John ü. 25. This is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John ii. 25. 2 Tim. i. 1.

XVIII. Christ's love to his people. John xiii. 3. having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end,
Ver. 34. A new commandment I gave unto you, that ye love one another as I loved you.
sv. 9. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you.
Rev. i. 5. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
Ver. 6. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, be glory and dominion for ever.

Christ's care of his people. Isa. xl. 11. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd, he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and gently lead those that are with young. See Ch. xlix. 10. Ezek. xxxiv. 23.
Matt. xxiii. 37. How often would I have gathered thy children as 3 hen gathereth her chickens under her wings. Isa. xlii. 3. Eph. v. 29.
Christ's presence with his people. Matt. xviii. 20. Where two or three are gathered together in thy name, there am I in the midst of them.
xxvïi. 20. I am with you alway unto the end of the world. John xiv. 18. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.
Ver. 21. He that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and manifest myself to him.

XX. Christ's excellencics and benefits briefly expressed. Eph. i. 3. God the Father hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ.

XXI. Titles given to Christ, taken from the highest, most honoura
ble and useful offices among men, as prophet, priest, king, denoting his benefits to mankind against sin, and his dignity above all on earth.
XXII. Christ's prophetic office was carried on by his Spirit, sfreakinge in the prophets of old. 1 Pet. i. 10. Of which salvation (by Christ) the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.
Ver. 11. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
S'er. 12. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves,
but unto us they did minister the things which are now reported un. to you by them that have preached the gospel unto you, with the Ho. ly Ghost sent down from heaven, which things the angels desire to look into.
1 Pet. iü. 19. By which (Spirit) Christ preached unto the spirits in prison.
Ver. 20. In the days of Noe, while the Ark was preparing.
2 Pet. i. 21. Prophecy came not in old time, by the will of mieng but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghoste 2 Tim. iii. 16.
XXIII. Christ's prophetic office thus foretold by the prophets. Deut. xviii. 18. The Lord said, I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
Ps. xl. 9. I have preached righteousness, I have not refrained my lips. Ver. 10.
Isa. ix. 2. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light. Ver. 6. Unto us a child is born, his name shall be called Counsellor.
xlii. 1. I have put my Spirit upon him, he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
Ver. 3. He shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Ver. 7. To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness from thc prison house. Ch. xlix. 9, 10.
xlix. 5. The Lord formed me froni the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him. Ver. 1, 2, 3, 6.
li. 4. I will make my judgment to rest, for a light to the people, Ver. 5. The Isles shall wait upon me.
Ver. 16. I have put my words in thy mouth.

Mal. iii. 1. The Lord whom ye seek shall come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant.
