Voorkant
Yale University Press, 1985 - 245 pagina's
A study of three German Protestant theologians who supported Hitler and Nazism. Deals with antisemitism mainly in the case of Gerhard Kittel (pp. 28-78), who joined the Nazi Party in 1933 and lent his expertise on Jewish matters to Nazi institutions and to a propaganda magazine published by Goebbels. In his postwar self-defense Kittel claimed that he did not participate in Nazi anti-Jewish policy and had even made private protests.
