Nader Naifar is currently a professor of finance at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the University of Sfax. In 2009, he received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Sfax, Tunisia. He has published a large number of papers on reputable journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus databases. His main research fields are Islamic finance, credit derivatives, financial crisis, and energy markets. Currently, his research interests focus on Fintech, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence for business. In 2019 he received the "Oxford Fintech programme" certificate from Said Business School at Oxford University
