Presented to Genl. Geo. Washington by some of his admirers. This is no doubt unique and is an exquisite piece of workmanship in porcelain, size of placque 81⁄2 in. by 84 in.

George Washington, as several volumes of this same work appeared in the catalogue of his library which was sold in 1876, and were bound to match this one.

178 Volume of Music belonging to Eleanor Parke Custis, containing the

Battle of Trenton, a Sonato for the piano forte, dedicated to Genl. Washington, New York. Printed and sold by James Hewitt, together with several other pieces of early music.

The piece of music in this volume entitled the Battle of Trenton, has an engraved frontispiece upon which is depicted a bust portrait of Genl. Washington, which is no doubt one of the rarest portraits in existence, it being entirely unknown to Mr. Baker or any other collector of Washington portraits.

All of the following books are from the estate of the late Lawrence Lewis, and his son Lorenzo Lewis, many of them, no doubt, are from Gen'l. George Washington's Library.

184 Birch's Views. The City of Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania, North America, as it appeared in the year 1800, consisting of 28 plates, drawn and engraved by W. Birch & Son, published by W. Birch, Springland Cot, near Neshaminy Bridge, on the Bristol Road, December 31st, 1800. Oblong, imperial 4°. Original boards.

A complete copy of this exceedingly rare work, in which the plates are all colored, somewhat water stained, but on account of the extreme scarcity of the book it may be considered a fair copy, owned by Lawrence Lewis, with his autograph on title.
