And here I prefent unto Thee, O LORD, Myself, Soul and Body, to be a reasonable, holy, and lively Sacrifice unto Thee while I have my Being. And though I be unworthy to offer unto Thee any Sacrifice, yet I befeech Thee to accept this my bounden Duty and Service; not weighing my Merits, but pardoning my Offences, for JESUS CHRIST's fake.

In making this Surrender of myself to Thee, I am defirous of leaving myself no Room for Subterfuge or Retractation, but to be henceforth Thy faithful Soldier and Servant unto my Life's End, Thou being my Helper. Enter it in Thy Book of Remembrance, and let me fubfcribe it with my Hand, that henceforth I am Thine: Heart, Will, Wishes, Talents, Influence, Poffeffions, all to be laid out to the best of my Judgment in Thy Service. O well for me! that Circumftances have enabled me this Day to renew with Thee my Baptifmal Covenant.

For Thy Service is joyous, not grievous; thy Yoke is not heavy, but light. Give me Help commenfurate with my Need. That Need will often be great. the Fires of Temptation, in the Waters of Tribulation, good LORD, deliver me! In Darkness and Perplexity, in the Sunshine of Profperity, good LORD, deliver me! In Pain, in Sickness, in the Hour of Death, good LORD, deliver me and remember me, and remember the Renewal of our Covenant this Day; and enable me to remember it too, though the Memory of Everything else should be fading away.
