Title within elaborate woodcut border. TWO LARGE FULL-LENGTH PORTRAITS OF THE AUTHOR, and NUMEROUS CHOICE WOODCUT ILLUSTRATIONS, MANY FOLDING. A TRULY MAGNIFICENT COPY.

EXCESSIVELY RARE. "This work is of an allegorical character, and was intended by it's Author to defend the position of the Catholic party in the reign of QUEEN MARY. The Author states in the Conclusion' that the 'FLIES' were intended to represent the CATHOLICS, and the 'SPIDERS' the PROTESTANTS."-Grolier Club Catalogue.
