1828

This laborious and learned work is indispensable to the Biblical Student. The Hebrew, Greek, and English versions of Scripture are given in juxtaposition, so as to form a kind of Polyglott; and the different opinions of Commentators on each disputed passage are quoted at length, and carefully considered. The author's profound acquaintance with the Hebrew and Oriental languages has enabled him to throw new light on many obscure passages.
