Bibliographers have united in extolling its great rarity, see the Bibliotheca Spenceriana, Vol. I. p. 221-6, where Dr. Dibdin has given an elaborate account of it. Mr. Moss, in his Manual, states, that he collated the copy in the Bodleian Library, and it wants all the Latin version, and the Latin address to Turrianus.

The cuts to the last two editions are the same as those in the "Cento Favole di Gio. Mario Verdizotti." They are remarkable for the beauty of the landscapes, and are supposed by Florent Le Comte to have been touched by Verdizotti's great master, Titian.
