Roney Smith is a songwriter since Valentine’s Day 1982 after he realized that writing lyrics came extremely easy to him during a fundraiser for the National Honor Society in his junior year in high school.  His late mother Cereser T. Smith was a retired English teacher and public speaker while his father Loney Smith whom this course and book is rightly named was a natural mathematician along with many within the Smith family.  The combination of words and mathematics create the foundation of music and Roney was raised to deeply love music and lyrics from a very young age.


He is married to the former Wyteria Cato since 1990 and they have two daughters named Rachel and Hailey.  The family has two cats named Neo and Max.


Roney is the author of several books and ebooks both completed and in progress.  One book “Every Seed Has The Divine Expectation of Much Fruit, Volume 1” has been translated into multiple languages and is available online and within book stores globally.


Roney is a composer, musician, producer, recording artist, and performer of Christian hip hop music.  His rap compositions are entitled “fish nets” in order to fulfill the desire of God in being a fisher of men and can be found online through his Seed Of Life recording label (http://www.seedoflifemusic.com).


Roney is a recognized internet expert and entrepreneur.  At any single time, Roney is developing and maintaining websites and online concepts to benefit clients and communities online and offline.


Roney enjoys spending his private time with his family and friends, reading, traveling, creating music, developing online concepts, and playing and watching soccer.


Roney earned a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Francis Marion College (now University) in Florence, South Carolina in 1987 and a master of business administration (MBA)  in finance from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. He founded TNL Communications Corporation (now called The Next Mint) on November 1, 1995 which was on his entrepreneurial anniversary that he founded front page profiled business Credit Guard shortly after graduating college on November 1, 1987.
