HAVE long been of Opinion, that we had not as yet obtained a full View of the wonderful Theocracy; and that there muft of Neceffity have been fome very terrible Mystery in the peculiar Separation of the Jewish People. To obtain this View, and to discover this Mystery, I knew would moft certainly let in a noble Stream of Light upon the Writings of Mofes and the Prophets; which muft, undoubtedly, contain very frequent Allufions to it; All which Allufions muft, of Courfe, lie buried in Obscurity, fo long as this Myftery was undiscovered.
