Honestly, this would be an invaluable resource for any bible student, scholar or home learning family. The Chronology of the Old Testament has over two hundred pages of intense, biblical chronology including various historical documentation, notations and charts.

A priceless companion to Ussher's Annal's of the World, but make the addition of Adams Map of History along with a biblically based history curriculum, and you would have a serious, solid foundation for history ~ perfect for all ages.

I have been using Dr Jones' book for several years now, and his detail plus notes plus graphs and charts and his references are among the very best. I had been reading Archbishop James Ussher's The Annals of the World for a couple of years before I discovered Dr Jones dissertation. In addition, I have studied Sir Issac Newton's Revised History of Ancient Kingdoms which is also quite good. The Chronology of the Old Testament is my "go to" book and then I go back and read the other two for further edification if needed. This book is loaded with research and is well written. I recommend this book for anyone who really is serious about Biblical history.
