This book is quite different from others on this topic. This book actually answers the question of why we suffer. Most today cannot answer that since they believe in the heresy of billions of years of death and suffering before the fall. Ken Ham explains why we suffer based on what Genesis teaches and gives his personal story of the death of his brother. Possibly the best book on suffering I've ever read.

Ken Ham lost his brother who had a terrible brain disease. His family had so many unanswered questions. But God used this situation to remind Ken and family that His Word has all the answers. By looking at the Bible, Ken Ham answers the question every single one of us face in life: Why is there suffering and death? How could a loving God allow this to happen?

As Christians it is very important that we have the correct worldview and understand the biblical origin of death and suffering so that we will be able to give an answer to ourselves and non-Christians.

I highly recommend this book. It has foundational facts clearly pointing to an all loving, all-powerful Creator and the effect sin has on our lives.
